Yvee Oduor

Executive Coordinator
Yvee Oduor is the Executive Coordinator at galck+, leading the coalition’s advocacy, coordination, and movement-building efforts for LGBTQ+ communities across Kenya. Yvee collaborates with member organizations, civil society partners, and regional stakeholders to advance the human rights of gender and sexual minorities through national advocacy initiatives, joint litigation, policy engagement, and leadership development programs.
A gender non-conforming feminist with a background in journalism, Yvee brings deep expertise in storytelling, research, and advocacy grounded in intersectional feminist practice. They serve on a coalition SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression) research committee and co-founded Because Womxn, a healing justice initiative for lesbian, bisexual, and queer women and gender non-conforming people in Kenya.
Having worked with numerous social justice organizations, Yvee sits on several grassroots boards and serves as Vice Chair of the Management Committee at The Commonwealth Equality Network (TCEN). They received the Upinde Fahari Award in 2022 for their contributions to LGBTQ+ advocacy. Yvee holds a Master’s degree in Gender Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), further deepening their engagement with global equality movements.
Vincent Mosweta

Head of Finance & Operations
Vincent Mosweta is the Head of Finance and Operations at galck+, Kenya’s national umbrella body for SOGIE organizations. In this senior leadership role, he oversees financial planning, human resources, procurement, internal controls, risk management, and governance, ensuring transparent resource stewardship in close alignment with donor requirements and institutional policy.
With over a decade of progressive experience in donor-funded NGOs and INGOs, Vincent brings deep expertise in multi-donor grant compliance, financial reporting, and organizational operations. At galck+, he manages complex portfolios funded by institutional partners such as Wellspring Philanthropic Fund, UNAIDS, UNDP, the EU, Arcus Foundation, and Hivos. Previously, as an Accountant at the International Republican Institute (IRI), he led financial management for USAID, DFID, and NED-funded programs and provided compliance oversight across several African field offices.
Vincent holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Kenyatta University, with professional development in Managerial Finance from the London School of Economics and Data Analytics through Google/Coursera. Proficient in major financial systems and IFRS/GAAP standards, he is recognized for delivering clean audit outcomes, strengthening internal controls, and providing strategic advice that supports galck+’s long-term sustainability and mission.
E. Chepkirui Ronoh

Programmes Development Officer
Chepkirui leads programme design, resourcing, coordination, and monitoring at galck+, driving initiatives that advance the rights and well-being of LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse communities across Kenya. She manages the complete project lifecycle—from concept and proposal development through implementation, reporting, and adaptive learning—while supporting institutional development, internship mentorship, and membership-level coordination to build responsive, sustainable programs.
With over eight years of experience in civil society programming, Chepkirui previously served as Head of Programmes at SCDP (2013–2022), overseeing community-based service delivery across Kericho, Nandi, Bomet, and Narok counties. Beyond her core expertise in project management and community-linked economic justice, she has completed the African Women Leadership Institute, a six-month leadership fellowship at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, and represented community perspectives at the World Bank & IMF Spring Meetings (2025).
Currently specializing in the Philosophy of Gender and Development, Chepkirui remains dedicated to feminist, rights-based approaches that center inclusion, dignity, thriving, and freedom.
Mark Ninga

Communications and Digital Media Officer
Sirr Ninga (he/him) is the Communications and Digital Media Officer at galck+, where he leads strategic communications and digital advocacy. Ninga crafts narrative strategies and digital campaigns that translate complex legal, social, and political issues into accessible public discourse. At galck+, he manages digital platforms, supports leadership messaging, and builds communication systems to ensure consistent, responsible outreach in sensitive or polarized environments.
With over five years of experience in civil society, Ninga works at the intersection of human rights, public narrative, and political participation. His expertise spans campaign management, coalition communications, crisis communication, and outreach analytics. He is particularly interested in how storytelling shapes public imagination and moves controversial issues toward comprehension.
Ninga’s professional training includes the Harvard LGBTQ+ Activism Summit, YALI East Africa, the Sexuality, Gender & Rights Institute, the East Africa Human Rights Program, the Feminists in Kenya Transformative Justice Institute, and the 2025 Global Messaging Program (Ireland & Australia). He approaches communications as both infrastructure and craft building strategies and campaigns that land with clarity, credibility, and impact; in other words, a bit of a communications baddie.
Kivenzi Muange (Kim)

Operations & Office of the Executive Coordinator Officer
Kivenzi (Kim) Muange serves as the Operations and Executive Coordinator Officer at galck+. In this role, Kim ensures the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations while managing key activities within the Executive Coordinator’s office. They oversee administrative systems, procurement, and vendor relations, while coordinating logistics for meetings, regional engagements, and travel. Kim also manages schedules, prepares institutional documentation, and supports galck+’s advocacy agenda to strengthen organizational visibility across movement spaces.
Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and applies an intersectional feminist lens to movement building and human rights advocacy. Their activism spans local, regional, and international platforms, bridging traditional organizing with digital spaces.
Kim participated in UN Trans Advocacy Week (2023 and 2024) at the UN Human Rights Council, engaging diplomatic missions and presenting a statement to the Independent Expert on SOGIE. Additionally, Kim completed the first cohort of the Feminists in Kenya Transformative Justice Institute and the Eastern Africa Editors Society Human Rights Defenders Bootcamp.
Wanjiku Kariuki

Wanjiku Kariuki (she/her) is the Finance & Admin Officer at galck+. A dedicated human rights advocate, organizer, and movement builder, Wanjiku blends sharp organizational acumen with a deep passion for feminist and queer liberation. In her role, she manages financial sustainability, compliance, and donor documentation while designing collaborative spaces that foster collective action and regional solidarity.
Wanjiku approaches her work with the belief that operational structure and community care are two sides of the same coin. She is deeply passionate about ensuring that marginalized communities do not merely resist, but actively thrive centering queer joy as an indispensable element of everyday activism.
Recognizing that those at the forefront of social justice often carry immense emotional and physical burdens, Wanjiku is deeply invested in cultivating holistic wellness practices within activist environments. She actively champions care, rest, and joy as vital components of movement resilience, striving to build sustainable, solidarity-driven spaces that not only endure, but also nourish and sustain the people who power them.
Koi Ng'ethe

Koi Ngethe is a Programmes Officer at galck+, where they lead the design, coordination, and implementation of programs advancing the rights, safety, and well-being of LGBTQ+ Kenyans. Their work focuses on advocacy, policy engagement, and community-centered programming to strengthen protection systems, expand mental health and safety services, and drive legislative equality. Koi also leads strategic collaborations with civil society partners, government actors, and international organizations to ensure resources fuel impactful, community-driven interventions.
With over a decade of experience across human rights, climate justice, and social equality, Koi brings deep expertise in program development, monitoring and evaluation, strategic partnerships, and capacity strengthening. They specialize in policy development and analysis, working to ensure governance frameworks are directly informed by lived realities and grounded in human rights principles.
Passionate, results-oriented, and deeply committed to equity, Koi leverages their multi-sectoral background to foster sustainable, long-term solutions to complex social challenges. They are a trusted changemaker who champions transparency, accountability, and community impact in every initiative they undertake.
Innocent Channy

Office Assistant
Innocent Channy (he/him) serves as the Office Assistant at galck+, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and reliable day-to-day operations of the secretariat. In this capacity, Channy provides essential administrative and operational support to the entire team, maintaining organized administrative systems, coordinating office supplies, and overseeing accurate record-keeping for petty cash, invoices, and receipts.
He supports basic procurement processes and manages routine administrative workflows, including document preparation, printing, filing, and internal and external correspondence. Additionally, Channy plays a crucial hands-on role in logistics, assisting with event coordination, meeting setups, and seamless operational preparation for organizational trainings and multi-stakeholder partnership engagements.
A CCNA- and Cybersecurity-certified professional, Channy combines technical proficiency with a strong, detail-oriented approach to office management. He brings both structure and personality to his work, taking pride in fostering a welcoming and collaborative office environment. Outside of his core professional duties, Channy is passionate about building meaningful, authentic connections and lasting friendships within community and activist spaces, guided by his personal motto: “Death to hookup culture.”
